I had the opportunity to crash one of Pulse News’ hackathons and, among other things, thought about Pulse’s “onboarding” user experience. So here’s my thought on simplifying the Pulse News first start welcome and instructions.

Contract re-design work for a travel/social app for the iPhone. Fun stuff that required a bunch of initial research into what apps were already out there, the designs they were using and wether or not they were attractive/easy to use/functional. Having a large amount of experience traveling, I prioritized ease of use and access to information and the most relevant features of the app in the design.

Cades Cove is an iPhone game concept developed and designed by me that currently has a working prototype but not a released app… looking for a rockstar iOS developer to finish connecting the dots for me if Greg can’t find the time to. Anyhow, check out the concept design work…

A super simple web landing page built for a Lightspeed summer program startup called Zeen Labs. Their app/product was called ZapText which helped users quickly send preset messages like “running late” or “on the way” with one simple tap instead of having to tap out the whole message when they were already super busy.
