The best home fries (hash browns,
breakfast hangover potatoes, whatever you call 'em) you’ll ever make. And really easy to make.
- 1 medium size red potato
- 1 medium size sweet potato
- Panic bread crumbs
- Seasoning. (salt / red & black pepper / paprika / dill) or just some steak seasoning like I use.
Chop potatoes into random sizes and shapes. Some tiny, some a bit larger. The odd shapes will give you a nice variation in texture from super crispy to fluffy potato.
Melt butter in the pan and add the potatoes.
Fry on medium heat until the potatoes start to brow.
Continue to fry till they are almost the perfect shade of amazing and add a cup of panko. Let the panko brown slightly as you continuously move it around in the pan. It’ll soak up any remaining butter and surface moisture from the potatoes, making everything crispy perfection.
Put it in your face.
